Varmint Al


When you combine an engineer performing engineering structural analysis at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and and a varmint hunter/gun nut in one person, and he puts up a web site, you get something like Varmint Al's.

Al is a man of many interests: a ham radio operator, shooter, hunter, machinist, hiker and dog owner, and the "eclectic" tag in his site title is accurate.

I guess I'd sum it up as readable, but sometimes very technical. For example, below is an illustration of the forces and motions in a gun as it is fired from one of his articles.
