Montana is the fourth most seismically active state in the U.S., trailing areas typically associated with earthquakes: Alaska, California and Hawaii.
The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology Earthquake Office is the epicenter of earthquake information for the state and shows all seismic activity over the western U.S. for the last week. I note that there were 36 incidents in the last week, one of them near Kalispell.
The Montana Department of Military Affairs offers this earthquake map, which shows, in great detail, the faults and earthquake zones throughout the state, and I was surprised to note the faults west of Kalispell.
Montana Disaster & Emergency Services information is listed there also, with links to such topics as disaster preparedness and Homeland Security.
