This is the OFFICIAL Facebook page for our state. Oddly enough, it was born in Wisconsin because of an event in Minnesota when a student from Great Falls started the page as his own idea.

" The thing is, Montana is just cooler than Minnesota."

That's the way Charlie Doughty, 27, saw it and who can blame him? So when he noticed that his Minnesota-born girlfriend had become a fan of Minnesota's official Facebook page, the Great Falls native made this gentleman's wager:

"I bet Montana can get more friends than Minnesota."

The page grew from there, and it is worth looking at, recommending to others, and visiting.
